Collages are an interesting approach to visualize fragments as a whole…, to organize an abundance of parts to a holistic form and impression.
The pictures are projecting somekind of optical overstimulation(…) 3Dimensionality was important for me…, so I overpainted most of the pieces to fuse their components. I rather wanted to have concrete constructs than seperative mosaics.
In the early 2000´s I had great material to realize this works…, like some bunch of Geo- …, and as you can see…, also some Porn-Magazines…

… a short trip to Budapest revealed some great StreetArt works…; but even more interesting was the morbid attraction of the socialist-architecture…, and that old communism art-pieces were banished into a museums-park at the edge of the city – because of their unwanted history. (But can we really extinguish history by blowing up some statues or so…? I guess not!) …and the socialistic settlements stay as estranged monuments…

Trough the reflection of this childish avoidance -I created a fragmentd view of an appartment-building in the suburbs with a statue of Lenin enthroning it…; both are relicts of one period in time…, but obviously not equal accepted…
